New Orleans, LA
March 6–May 26

Faust spent a significant portion of his life and began his career as an artist in New Orleans. He received his B.F.A in Photography from The Academy of Art College in San Francisco in 1998. Then returned to New Orleans to make a name for himself as a mixed media artist. He has participated in numerous exhibitions from the Contemporary Art Center and the Ogden Museum to the off the main strip art spaces, such as the Orange Street Gallery, which was a space that served as an incubator for the work of Faust and his contemporaries. During his career, Faust has focused on being a practicing artist that has a need to give back through arts education on a local level that has had national and international exposure. Such as a collaborative project with Haitian artist, Vidho Lorville that gave young people a voice to both heal and encourage after the devastating earthquake of 2011. This was a special project with National Geographic that gave young people the opportunity to go out and tell the story of the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with the talented journalists that worked for the magazine. Faust is currently focusing on elevating his personal work to a national and international stage.
